ABOUT THE CONTEST

  • A renowned and widely recognized competition with a 10-year history, representing educational innovation in Russia.

  • The contest is organized by the Institute of Education at the Higher School of Economics in collaboration with Alfa-Bank.

JOIN THE JURY

  • Who can become a jury member
    A representative from an educational organization or a business is eligible to be a jury member. The evaluation focus may vary. Practical experience and commitment to supporting educational innovators are crucial.
  • To join the jury panel, please complete the following steps:
    Kindly fill out the registration form and submit the required details to take part in the contest. The poster and other relevant materials are attached.

CONTEST STAGES

  • Main application period
    June 17 – August 31, 2024
    The participant can receive feedback and finalize the project.
  • Final application wave
    September 1 – September 15, 2024. The participant may apply at various stages of solution development. By the final stage, at least the results of a pilot project must be submitted.

  • Jury voting
    Project ratings submission due by November 16, 18:00.
  • Contest final
    The final will be held on November 21– November 23, 2024 in Moscow.

Additional nominations

Alfa Bank

Alfa-Bank, the general partner of KIVO-2024, offers additional nominations that align with the key directions of modern education and technologies the company actively supports and develops.
Each winner will receive a grant of 500,000 rubles to support their project implementation.

    How well do the answers address the questions in the application form?

  • INNOVATIVENESS


    How innovative or substantially improved is the solution compared to existing options in this specific field?

  • RELEVANCE


    How significant is the problem that the project aims to address (what specific "pain point" does it target)? Will the project generate a positive social impact?

  • FEASIBILITY


    How suitable / impactful is the proposed solution in effectively addressing the problem?


  • SCALABILITY


    Is there potential for replicating the proposed solution on a larger scale/ implementing it independently of the original author?

  • PROJECT DEVELOPMENT


    To what extent do the declared resources of the project align with its goals, implementation stages, anticipated social effects, and competitive landscape?

RUSSIAN-CHINESE CENTER for Innovative Cooperation (NANJING) has become a partner of the Innovations in Education Contest. The winner will have the opportunity to receive support in securing a grant to promote their project in China.
